Peter Waring

Peter Waring is the director of Two Seas Technology Ltd and the founder of the RaceMotion concept. Having started sailing at the age of 8 years old Peter quickly progressed to being one of New Zealands top yachtsmen winning several national titles and also being placed 5th in the Laser World Championships. Peter represented New Zealand on several occasions as part of the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron's Youth Squad and competed in various Youth Matchracing regattas internationally.

Also a software programmer, Peter has developed heavy duty software for investment banks, including automated trading applications. It was while travelling around South America in 2003 that Peter had the inspiration to put something back into a sport he loves. After returning to New Zealand he founded the RaceMotion concept and created the 3D animation and online performance centre which is still the flagship product of the RaceMotion website.

Peter is passionate about yachting and is a keen windsurfer and also sails a 14-ft Javelin Skiff. He loves being out on the water, pushing the boundaries, always with a GPS in hand to record that elusive personal best speed.
